We are partnered with a leading institutional brokerage firm dedicated to delivering exceptional execution, insights, and service to our clients. Our team supports a wide range of institutional investors, including hedge funds, asset managers, and pension funds, across US equity markets. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Equity Sales Trader to join our dynamic and growing team in a fully remote capacity. Position Summary:
As an Equity Sales Trader, you will be responsible for providing high-touch trade execution, idea generation, and relationship management for institutional clients. You will work closely with portfolio managers, traders, and analysts to ensure timely execution and delivery of actionable market intelligence. This role requires strong communication skills, an established rolodex of relationships, deep understanding of equity markets, and the ability to operate independently in a remote environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute equity trades (single stock, baskets, programs) on behalf of institutional clients while maintaining best execution standards.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their strategies and trading needs.
Provide market color, trade ideas, and updates on relevant news and flows.
Collaborate with research, electronic trading, and capital markets teams to deliver comprehensive client coverage.
Act as a key point of contact for client queries related to execution, market conditions, and trade performance.
Maintain accurate and timely records of all trading activity and client communication.
Qualifications:
~8+ years of experience in institutional equity sales trading.
~ Proven ability to build and manage institutional client relationships.
~ Deep understanding of equity markets, market structure, and trading technologies
~ Established rolodex of institutional clients
~ Comfortable working independently in a remote environment with a high degree of accountability.
~ Series 7 and 63 (or willingness to obtain if not current).
