Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated Environmental Scientist with a minimum of three years of geotechnical field experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental science and a proven track record in geotechnical investigations, soil sampling, and field analysis. Additional you will be in charge of the oversite and quality control of two facilities - one producing topsoil in Baltimore and one crushing and cleaning Class 2 fill materials in Baltimore
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct geotechnical field investigations, including soil sampling, logging, and testing.
Analyze and interpret data from field samples to assess environmental conditions and provide recommendations.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project timelines and client expectations are met.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or a related field.
Minimum of three years of geotechnical field experience.
Proficiency in geotechnical testing and data analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Compensation:
Hourly rate: $28/hour + Full family PPO Heath Care, Eye, Dental, 9 Paid Holidays and 7 PTO days off + $500 in savings per year + $500 in vehicle allowance per month. The fringes are worth over $7.29 per hour (equivalent to an annual salary of approximately $77,500 based on 2,080 hours per year), plus full benefits. Position is based in Baltimore.
