Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) Associate Attorney| $310k–$435k|Multiple Locations (Hybrid)
An AmLaw 50 firm is seeking an Emerging Companies & Venture Capital (ECVC) Associate to join its expanding practice focused on high-growth startups and the investors who back them . You’ll work directly with founders, CEOs, management teams, and boards of directors , advising clients from pre-seed through pre-IPO stages.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage transactions for both company-side and investor-side clients .
Advise founders and management teams on formation, financing, and exit strategies —often in fast-paced, high-impact settings.
Counsel clients on a full range of corporate governance and compliance matters across the business lifecycle.
Represent venture capital firms and institutional investors in early- and late-stage financings.
Build lasting relationships with clients across the technology and life sciences sectors .
Qualifications:
4–8 years of experience in emerging companies, venture capital, or growth transactions .
Demonstrated interest in technology, life sciences, and innovation-driven industries .
Excellent drafting, communication, and relationship management skills.
Licensed (or eligible to become licensed) in the relevant jurisdiction for your preferred office location.
Strong academic credentials and a collaborative approach.
