Innovative Electric is a locally owned and operated electrical company serving Northwest Florida. Innovative focuses primarily on residential electrical contracting for new construction projects.

Electrician role pays $26-$34hr based on experience; paid weekly

Job duties will include :

• pre-wire and trim of electrical and lighting systems
• knowledge of NEC and reading blueprints
• Install safety and distribution components (e.g. switches, resistors, circuit-breaker panels etc.)
• Connect wiring in electrical circuits and networks ensuring compatibility of components
• fixture installation
• general maintenance & troubleshooting

Requirements

• Direct experience working in the industry with proven experience as an electrician
• Construction experience or general mechanical aptitude is helpful.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints/ floor plans and markups
• Ability to lead a crew of up to 3 people
• Ability to work on a variety of different projects
• Demonstrable ability to use electrical and hand tools such as power drills, wire strippers, voltmeters, etc.
• Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations and guidelines
• Experience on construction sites and knowledge of best practices on job sites
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving ability
• An eagerness to learn and work as part of a growing team is required.

Compensation details: 25-34 Hourly Wage
