A well-established electrical contractor with a strong regional presence is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support and lead projects throughout the Atlanta market.

The company delivers complex electrical scopes across commercial, industrial, multifamily, government, and mission-critical environments. Position Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing electrical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical construction professional with strong organizational, financial, and leadership skills who can coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and drive successful project outcomes in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical construction projects from award through final closeout
  • Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, and cost controls
  • Coordinate with Superintendents, Engineers, Estimators, vendors, and subcontractors
  • Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and design teams
  • Monitor job progress, manage changes, and proactively mitigate project risks
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality requirements, and project specifications
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress and financial reporting
  • Support estimating and preconstruction efforts as needed
  • Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers and project staff

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager within electrical construction
  • Background in commercial, industrial, or similar large-scale electrical projects
  • Strong understanding of electrical systems, construction means and methods, and NEC compliance
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with project management tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, and scheduling software
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, and team development

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary $130,000 - $160,000
