As a full-time Electrical Assembler II, you will do electrical assembly related to schematics, laser engraving, labels, wiring and operating forklifts.

You will report to the Manufacturing Supervisor and be located at the Westinghouse Shoreview, MN facility. You will support this role 100% onsite,

• Daily tasks could include using a multimeter, soldering with a gun, crimping wire lugs, and wiring simple electrical circuits.
• Communicate with Engineers to discuss design issues.
• Identify non-conformances with your assembly build and work with Quality Control.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years of experience
• Any PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) experience such as wiring or programming.
• Experience in Motor Control Stations (specifically any experience in wiring or troubleshooting AC/DC Motors)
• Drilling or Tapping into Metal Materials or any kind of fabrication experience
• Any Technical Schooling relate to the Electrical Industry especially an understanding of electrical theory.
• Experience wiring assemblies to Electrical Schematics or Wiring Diagrams.
• Use multiple Power Hand Tools like Drills, Digital Multimeters, Screwdrivers, Cutting Tools, Wire Strippers, Crimpers for Wire Connections
• Experience dealing with wire sizes 18 AWG to 10 AWG.
• Any Soldering experience especially for 18 AWG to 14 AWG ranges for wire sizes.
• Any Panel Building Experience.
• Electrical Conduit Bending or Threading Experience.
• Have some Mechanical Aptitude, able to Assemble and Fabricate

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $23.40 to $27.90 per hour.
