What you will be doing:

• Safe operation of dump trucks on and off road.
• Responsible for documentation of materials delivered, accurate record of time and funds collected
• Perform pre and post trip inspections
• Prepare Daily Inspection Reports
• Weekly and general vehicle maintenance (as per the Vehicle Maintenance Schedule)
• Proper cleaning of vehicle inside and outside
• Plant/Yard maintenance and housekeeping duties as assigned
• Understand and observe Carroll Concrete’s Company’s policies and procedures regarding customer relations

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

• Must have a valid CDL Class B Driver’s License and driving record within the tolerable insurability limits (Carroll Concrete Company’s discretions)
• Must pass DOT (Department of Transportation) physical as well as federally mandated alcohol and drug testing requirements

Restrictions:

• Must be able to maneuver in and out of equipment safely
• Must be able to lift or maneuver up to 75lbs. multiple times throughout the workday
• Must inspect all areas of equipment and plant, daily
• Must perform plant maintenance
• Perform multiple tasks under stressful situations over long periods of time while maintaining proper composure
• Must be able to work flexible hours as necessary

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent

Skills:

1. Must be dependable, a team player and be safety conscious
2. Must be able to deal professionally with plant employees and other drivers
3. Legible writing and math skills
4. Common sense and good judgement and willingness to work
5. Excellent defensive driving skills

Experience:

Dump Truck driving experience and/or several years of off-road driving experience

Schedule: We guarantee 40 hours all year round!
