Warehouse & Production Assistant

Location: Norcross, GA | Full-Time

About Us

Shortbarrel Bourbon, an Atlanta-based craft whiskey brand, recently acquired Old Fourth Distillery—Atlanta’s first legal distillery since Prohibition. Together, we’re focused on producing exceptional bourbon and rye, blending tradition with innovation. As we grow, we’re looking to add a  Warehouse & Production Assistant to our team.

Who We’re Looking For

Someone hands-on, reliable, and experienced in the world of brewing or distilling. If you’ve worked in a brewery or distillery before—and you’re looking for your next chapter in a fast-growing spirits company—this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations: Receive, organize, and manage raw materials and finished goods.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory and perform regular counts to keep stock accurate.
• Production Support: Assist with blending, bottling, labeling, and general production needs.
• Equipment Care: Clean and maintain equipment to keep things running smoothly.
• Quality Checks: Help monitor consistency and report any issues promptly.
• Safety First: Follow all safety procedures and contribute to a safe work environment.

What You Need to Have

• Experience: At least 1 year in a brewery or distillery (required).
• Physical Capability: Able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Skill Set: Detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated.
• Bonus Points: Forklift certified or mechanically inclined.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
