A bit about us:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Finance to lead our financial sales team. This is a critical role that will be responsible for driving the financial success of our company. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales management, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. The Director of Finance will work closely with senior leadership to strategize and execute sales plans that align with our company's financial goals.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans that align with our company's financial goals.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing sales team to achieve financial sales targets.
  • Oversee financial forecasting and modeling to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Direct financial reporting activities to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Develop and manage the annual budgeting process, including setting targets, reviewing budgets, and ensuring compliance.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of the financial industry and market trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Ensure the sales team has the necessary resources to perform effectively.
  • Provide financial sales training and coaching to the sales team.
  • Monitor and analyze performance metrics and suggest improvements.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a financial sales leadership role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of financial forecasting, financial modeling, and budgeting.
  • SAP experience is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in financial reporting and compliance.
  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Demonstrated ability to strategize and execute sales plans.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Commitment to maintaining the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism.
