The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior Level Electronic & Electrical Engineer to work for the 777X Program – located in Berkeley, MO . This position will focus in supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization supporting the 777X Program.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads work with customers to develop and document complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
  • Leads and coordinates work to analyze and translate requirements into system architecture, hardware and software designs and interface specifications.
  •  Leads work to test and validate to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
  • Monitors supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
  • Solves problems concerning and provides other support of fielded hardware over the entire product lifecycle.
  • Researches technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
  • Makes recommendations for technology investments

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the Berkeley, MO facility.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
  • 9+ years of work-related experience with Bachelor’s OR 7+ years of work-related experience with Masters OR 4+ years with a PhD
  • 9 + years of experience in requirements Verification and Validation and managing avionics subsystems thru the qualification life cycle.

  • Knowledge of Circuit Design, Electronic System Design, Requirements, Hardware/Software Development, EMI/EMC, Requirements management, configuration management, project engineering, project management.
  • Experience with Commercial FAA Regulations & certification.

Typical Education/Experience:

Senior (Level 4) Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range for (level 4): $119,850 - $162,150
