Job Description

Our team is growing, and we are hiring at NDX Davis Dental Lab in Wyoming, MI for a Dental Laboratory Technician (Cast Partials).

The regular hours for this position are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:

• Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist.
• Investing/Refractories of models.
• All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities Preferred:

• Knowledge tooth anatomy
• Ability to articulate according to Rx
• Knowledge of materials (i.e. stones, acrylic)
• Identify through Impressions margins

Minimum Education and Experience Required:

• Required: High school diploma or GED equivalent

Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:

• Good Earth Investment (contains crystalline silica), Good Earth Binder, Special Hard Rosin Dip
• Dry Grinder, Vibrator, Casting Oven

Physical Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and/or reach. Periods of sitting.
• Exhibit fine motor skills and/or perform repetitive motions.
• Read and interpret prescriptions and other required documentation.
• Ability to effectively communicate technical information.
• Vision capabilities: depth perception, attention to detail, and/or color.
• Required to wear a respirator and must be clean-shaven.
• Must undergo a pulmonary medical exam.
