A significant portion of critical business data is stored within production databases without replication to a reporting layer. The Charitable Analytics team needs the ability to utilize this data without risk to the business.
Many data require preparation, wrangling, and transformation to enable performant reporting with business intelligence tools. Without a database to store the transformed data, the value in this effort is minimized.
Charitable Analytics is faced with capacity challenges to provide ad-hoc reporting to key areas of the business in a timely manner. Building business logic into refined reporting tables would allow power uses to self-serve and quickly make decisions.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Data warehousing/ Reporting layer solution recommendation
Construction and maintenance of data infrastructure for Charitable Analytics
Works closely with Client Charitable Technology to build data pipelines for production data
Data modeling and database management
Partners with Charitable Analytics to build reporting views
Monitors for data issues, changes, impacts to reporting
Responsible for stream-lining data preparation
