ISSA is the leading trade association for the cleaning industry worldwide. Our purpose is to change the way the world views cleaning. The association represents businesses, organizations, and professionals across the entire cleaning industry chain, including manufacturers, manufacturer representatives, wholesalers, distributors, in-house service providers, building service contractors, residential cleaners, and more.
The primary objective of this paid summer internship is to support ISSAs sales and marketing teams with data analysis and reporting. The intern will play a crucial role in analyzing various datasets to extract actionable insights that will help improve our go-to-market strategies and customer lifetime value. The role will be in effect from June 1 through August 15 depending on the successful candidates availability.
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand their data needs and objectives.
Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can drive strategic decisions.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize data and track key performance indicators (KPIs).
Provide recommendations based on data analysis to optimize advertising strategies and enhance customer engagement.
Assist in the preparation of presentations and reports to communicate findings to stakeholders.
Support ad-hoc data analysis requests and projects as needed.
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, data visualization software (e.g., Power BI), and website analytics (e.g., Google Analytics).
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present data findings clearly.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Experience with statistical analysis and data modeling is a plus.
