Customer Service Representative - Ocean Import

774 South Shelmore Boulevard Suite 101, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464

On-site role Mon-Fri (w/1 hour lunch)

Not your typical, face-to-face, retail customer service job. In this role, you are a customer-focused representative, working with the importation of ocean cargo.

Customer Service Representative - Ocean Import Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with customer inquiries for import cargo through email and phone
• Monitor all assigned cargo that is in transit or at the terminal
• Cross-functionally communicates to manage the timely delivery of cargo and escalates where needed
• Use your strong reading and comprehension skills to reference documents, procedures, and guidelines effectively.
• Have a working knowledge and level of comfort using MS Office products - especially Outlook, Excel, and SharePoint

Preferred skills (not required)

• US and Canada Regulatory Transportation Requirement
• Knowledge of International Cargo Container Movement
• Experience with Terminal and Rail Operations
