This Cultural Arts Assistant II position earns competitive pay of $ 14.61/hr . A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CULTURAL ARTS ASSISTANT II
As a Cultural Arts Assistant II, you spend your day providing high quality service in the Arts department. Your work typically involves participating/assisting in planning and coordinating events, programs, and festivals. Overseeing exhibit set ups and exhibit reports, logistical event set ups, assisting in preparing contracts generally fill up your day. Your job is essential to the city, you supervise volunteers and interns and assist in event, program, and logistical planning. You are constantly on your toes and ready for any new and unexpected challenges that may arise in the city. This can include preparing venues, set up equipment, perform as usher, and operate cash registers
When you aren't assisting with events, you generally provide administrative assistance to the department. You also ensure that all borrowed equipment is returned promptly and in good condition. You enjoy being helpful and have no problem providing assistance and support to other divisions within the department as needed. The city needs someone like you with skills in customer service, organization, and you find genuine enjoyment in what you do!
