ON THE JOB, SECURITY OFFICER:

Foot Patrol & Stand post up to 8 hours per shift Greet customers/ employees. Provide excellent customer service. Follow post orders Watch CCTV camera system and notate accurately in a daily activity report. Observe, survey, and provide reporting on activity at your assigned location. Provide rapid response in critical situations.

TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE:

Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service. High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness Ability to deescalate situations and remain calm in confrontation. Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength. Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED equivalent Active California Guard Card with 8hrs powers to arrest training certificates - REQUIRED. Guard Card 32hrs training certificates - PREFERRED Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service/ security position Have a solid/stable work history in the past 6 years, no more than 3 jobs, supplemental jobs acceptable.
