Controller Location: Just Outside Eugene, OR
Salary: $125,000 - $150,000 per year

Situated just outside Eugene, Oregon, our client prides themselves on their commitment to quality, sustainability, and exceptional service.
Position Overview: As the Controller, you will play a crucial role in managing the company’s financial operations, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing leadership to the accounting team. This position offers significant growth potential for the right individual, with opportunities for advancement as the company continues to expand. You will oversee a team of four and be responsible for guiding and developing their skills to maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities: - Oversee and manage all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Supervise and mentor a team of four accounting professionals, ensuring optimal performance and professional growth.
- Prepare and present timely financial statements and reports to senior management.
- Lead month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
- Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
- Manage cash flow, financial planning, and capital expenditures.
- Support the company’s growth through proactive financial strategies, forecasting, and budgeting.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting/finance, with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Experience with Sage 100 is a plus, but not required (experience with similar ERP systems is a plus).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry practices.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights.
