Job Description

The Contracts Associate is responsible for assisting in the development, negotiation, and management of contracts related to procurement activities. This position supports and implements procurement strategies, optimizes the supplier base, and meets savings targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality. The role involves managing contract negotiations with vendors, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and policies, and achieving the best value for the company. Collaboration with legal teams is essential for compliance and risk mitigation, while addressing and resolving conflicts in contract terms is a key responsibility. Building strong relationships with key business units and decision makers is crucial to support their strategic and tactical objectives. The role also entails maintaining accurate contract records, monitoring compliance, and resolving contract-related issues. Additionally, reviewing and approving purchase requisitions to ensure they comply with organizational policies and budgets is required, along with timely processing to support project timelines.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in vendor and procurement management.
• 2+ years of experience in contract negotiations, including pricing, terms, and conditions.
• Proven experience in manually developing RFIs, RFPs, and RFQs.
• Experience in manually developing and drafting various types of agreements, such as SOW, MSA, DSA, and Amendments.
• Familiarity with Oracle ERP systems and proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously and ensure timely execution.
