** Construction Laborer and Operator for Specialty Concrete Contractor - Apprentice and Journeyman**

American Concrete Co. Is looking for candidates for entry-level positions as well as journeymen Concrete Saw Operators. American Concrete has been business since 1984 and is reputable, respected and licensed in 13 Western States. Employees will generally check in, and be dispatched daily from a local equipment yard and shop, traveling from there to specific job sites. Employees will be supplied with top of the line equipment and all general personal protective equipment as needed. Safe work practices on the part of the candidate are necessary to be part of this safety-committed team. In turn, you will receive on the job training and support.
The ideal candidate will have:
* Some experience running various concrete cutting saws, core drills, or a willingness to learn how to run the aforementioned, along with other types of equipment. In lieu of concrete cutting equipment, other types of construction equipment may be viewed as similar.
* A valid drivers license and a good driving record.
* A passing pre-employment drug screen, (Background checks, and other testing may be required on certain projects).
* Ability to work various schedules, depending on the jobs: such as multiple shifts, day and night; occasional weekends; or out of town if necessary.
* The ability to follow safety requirements, be able to use personal protective equipment, and use heavy equipment.
* A good work ethic, deal honestly with people, and be reliable.
Desirable but not required is a CDL or ability to obtain one. A good attitude is a plus also

This position is full time, with a starting wage of $16/hr. to $28/hr. depending on experience. It also includes company paid health insurance, a 401K plan with employer contributions, an HRA plan with regular contributions.
