Job Description:
Objectives
* Assist the Senior Engineer and teams in implementing the Azure transition plan, focusing on hands-on resource configuration, monitoring and support activities.
* Develop practical skills in hybrid cloud operations, Infrastructure-as-Code deployment and DevOps workflows, contributing to the sustainability of FCCC's Azure environment.
* Ensure accurate technical documentation and contribute to the maintenance of runbooks and inventories.
* Execute Level 2 support tasks such as provisioning VMs, modifying resource configurations and performing routine maintenance under direction of the Senior Consultant.
Qualifications
* Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, including exposure to virtualization and cloud technologies (preferably Azure).
* Familiarity with Windows and Linux server administration, basic understanding of cloud networking and storage, and experience with monitoring and backup tools.
Technical Skills: Working knowledge of scripting and automation (PowerShell, Bash or
Python); experience with Git/version control; knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code tools
and DevOps practices.
* Certifications: Completion of Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals or equivalent, or
willingness to pursue certification.
