Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) to join our growing clinical research team. This position has become available due to recent growth and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful studies in neurology, including Alzheimer’s and related conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of assigned clinical trials (approximately 5 studies per CRC), excluding budgets and startup.
- Serve as a lead and/or backup CRC on complex and simpler studies (typically 2 complex + 3 simpler studies).
- Conduct patient visits (average of 2 patients per day) and perform study-specific procedures including rating scales such as MoCA, MMSE, and C-SSRS.
- Collect and process biological samples, including phlebotomy and blood processing.
- Maintain accurate and timely data entry in systems such as Medidata, eSource, and eReg.
- Ensure compliance with study protocols, regulatory requirements, and GCP standards.
- Collaborate with two Principal Investigators and a team of three other CRCs.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
- Experience working with neurology and Alzheimer’s patient populations .
- Neurology experience does not need to be in clinical research (e.g., experience in assisted living or memory care settings is acceptable).
- Hands-on experience with clinical rating scales (MoCA, MMSE, C-SSRS).
- Strong regulatory and clinical skills, including phlebotomy and sample processing .
- Familiarity with clinical data systems , including:
- Medidata
- eSource and eReg
- Real time CTMS
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a life science or related field is preferred.
- Candidates without a degree will be considered if their experience is particularly strong.
