Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Compensation

• The pay for this position is $53.00 per hour
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Highlights

• Location: Fully Remote (Never Onsite)
• Employment Type: Contract with potential for full-time hire
• Training Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM EST for 8–10 weeks (no time off during training)
• Post-Training Schedule: 8-hour shifts between 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
• Weekend Requirement: Either one weekend day or rotating weekend schedule
• Business Hours:
• • Monday–Friday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
  • Saturday–Sunday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM EST

Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Responsibilities

• Review and set up Medicare Part D requests and appeals accurately
• Perform clinical review of cases using compendia and CMS guidance
• Contact providers for additional clinical information when needed
• Ensure compliance with Medicare timelines, quality, and productivity standards
• Document case activity clearly and completely in internal systems
• Participate in team meetings, feedback sessions, and performance improvement discussions

Clinical Pharmacist Advisor Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree or PharmD in Pharmacy (required)
• License: Active Registered Pharmacist license in state of residence (required)
• Experience: Managed Care or PBM environment preferred
• Technical Skills:
• • Computer literacy in Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Visio (preferred)
  • Data entry experience and ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • Ability to work independently in a productivity-driven environment
• Work From Home Setup:
• • Dedicated, quiet workspace free of distractions
  • Wired internet connection (minimum 25 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload)
  • Include screenshot of internet speed test from on resume
  • Ability to sit and focus for full shift (dual-screen setup preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED required (in addition to pharmacy degree)
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Managed Care or Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) environment
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Knowledge of Medicare Part D processes and CMS compliance
