*Clinic CMA – Internal Medicine - Qualifications:*
* Graduate of an accredited medical assisting program; CPR certification; and ability to maintain confidentiality required
* Certification with American Association of Medical Assistants, previous experience in internal medicine and/or family practice, and prior Epic experience preferred
*Clinic CMA – Internal Medicine - Responsibilities:*
* Rooms patients; assists in procedures; schedules tests/procedures; administers injections; preps charts and abstracts results; cleans and stocks rooms; and may assist with autoclaving.
* Monitors and responds to MyChart requests, result notes, unviewed results, unread message alerts, etc.
* Completes stat prior authorizations and treatment visits for patients who may need a blood pressure check, ear lavage, immunization, etc.
* Works the Epic In Basket and responds to non-symptom-based calls from patients regarding refill requests, paperwork, immunization questions, etc.
