Overview

CTG is seeking to fill a CIS Cayenta Implementation Tester role for our client in Anchorage, AK.

Location: Remote
Duration: 4 months

• Develop, execute, and document test cases for the CIS Cayenta implementation.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to validate system performance.
• Identify, log, and track defects, collaborating with developers and implementation teams for resolution.
• Validate data migration and ensure accuracy in customer account information and billing records.
• Work closely with business analysts, developers, and end-users to understand requirements and test scenarios.
• Ensure Cayenta CIS integrates correctly with third-party applications and downstream systems.
• Provide detailed testing reports and communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Support end-user training and post-implementation validation activities.

• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, defect tracking, and test management tools.
• Ability to write SQL queries for data verification.
• Experience with data validation and migration testing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
• Familiarity with utilities, municipalities, or public sector CIS implementations.

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, preferably within Cayenta CIS or similar CIS platforms.
• Prior involvement in large-scale CIS implementation projects is preferred.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with Cayenta modules such as billing, customer management, and payments.

• ISTQB or other software testing certifications are a plus.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position $120.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors, including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefits package is also offered.
