An integral part of the team and their initiative to bring innovative polymers and adhesive products to market, the Chemical Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring production to specification via appropriate automated batch methods. Your day to day duties as a Chemical Process Engineer will be:

• Supporting new and existing chemical production routes via software and hardware
• Enabling seamless transfer from lab to plant of SOPs
• Generating relevant data to support quality improvement
• Collaborate with internal colleagues to establish costings, time scales and any capital expense proposals

You will be an ideal candidate with this background:

• A proven track record as process engineer in polymer chemistry
• A degree, or equivalent, in a relevant engineering or chemistry field
• Knowledge of automation of processes and programming of PLCs
• A good team-working approach and excellent written and verbal communication skills
