Job Description

Just recently graduated with a chemical engineering degree and wondering what’s next? Not exactly thrilled by the idea of becoming a process engineer at a massive refinery? Want to use your skills in a way that’s innovative, dynamic, and—dare we say—exciting?

How about joining a technology-driven company in the Oil & Gas industry, where we’re revolutionizing the game with data integration, CAD digitization, 3D mapping, and our cutting-edge Digital Twin platform?

If you live in the greater Houston area, you’re ready to learn the business, travel, and gain hands-on experience with a variety of clients, we want you on our team!

BUT FIRST, HERE’S A LITTLE ABOUT US:

We’re not your typical engineering squad. We’re a remote-first, globe-trotting team of CAD pros, field experts, software wizards, and problem-solving champions. Our mission? Digitizing industrial facilities and making plants smarter, faster, and more efficient. Sound cool? It is. Join us, and you’ll bring digital miracles to life—all while working with some of the biggest names in Oil & Gas.

Check us out here:

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO… BECAUSE EVERY DAY IS DIFFERENT!)

3D Scanning Adventures: As part of the Reality Capture team, you’ll use cutting-edge mobile-first scanning devices (NavVis VLX) and static scanners to capture the intricate landscapes of refineries and chemical plants. You'll transform industrial sites into digital marvels—your scans will be the foundation of our Digital Twin technology!

Data Processing Wizardry: Dive into raw data and turn it into stunning, high-fidelity digital models. Whether assisting or leading, you’ll be the maestro behind the scenes, orchestrating data into visually impressive and highly functional deliverables.

Digital Twin Implementation: Collaborate with a multidisciplinary global team to deploy our state-of-the-art Digital Twin platform (check it out here) at Oil & Gas and Chemical facilities.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT?

✔ Analytical Mindset: Love diving into data and uncovering insights? You’ll fit right in.
✔ Adaptability: Every day is different—rolling with the punches and problem-solving on the fly is key.
✔ Problem-Solving Skills: Spot a challenge? Fix it fast! We love go-getters.
✔ Communication Superpowers: Whether it’s chatting with clients or collaborating with teammates, you can explain things clearly and effectively.

🎯 Bonus Points If You Have: Some hands-on refinery experience (not required, but definitely a plus!).

WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO JOIN THIS ADVENTURE

To embark on this exciting reality capture adventure, a few requirements are essential:

  • Authorization to work in the United States. We need you to be legally cleared to capture the magic of reality!
  • A shiny new chemical engineering degree
  • Possession or ability to obtain a TWIC card. Consider it your backstage pass to the captivating world of industrial enchantment.
  • Be ready to embrace the drug testing requirements imposed by our on-site clients, including the occasional surprise pop quiz, known as random drug testing, that keeps life interesting. It's like a game show where the prize is a clean bill of health!
  • Willingness to travel as needed (80-90% of the time) to support field projects. Get ready to explore fascinating landscapes and witness the transformation of the physical into the digital!

THE BENEFITS WE OFFER:

  • A healthy work-life balance that keeps you energized and ready to conquer new challenges. We want you to have time for family, hobbies, and a good cup of coffee!
  • Travel stipends and per diem for those thrilling offshore and out-of-country field projects. It's like getting paid to go on an adventure!
  • Comprehensive Health/Vision/Dental insurance coverage to keep you in top shape. We care about your well-being, inside and out!
  • A 401(k) plan with matching contributions because we want you to retire in style, like a headliner at a sold-out show.
  • A Cell Phone/Internet stipend to keep you connected with the world. After all, you're a digital superhero, and the world needs your superheroic presence!

Ready to kickstart your career? Join Environmental Intellect and be part of a team that’s turning ideas into digital reality.

💰 Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 (depending on experience)
