Job Description

A healthcare company located in Toms River is looking for an experienced and certified Medical Coder. This role involves reviewing and accurately coding medical records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, and maintaining thorough documentation. The salary ranges from $60K to $65K, and a hybrid work option may be available based on performance and company needs.

Responsibilities:

• Review and code medical records using standardized coding procedures.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify diagnoses and coding queries.
• Stay updated on industry coding practices and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Certified Medical Coder (CPC, CCS, or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Experience with ICD-10 and CPT coding.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Location: Toms River (Hybrid may be an option)

Salary: $60K-$65K
