The company is an electrical contracting firm specializing in commercial and industrial lighting retrofits and EV charging stations. We are passionate about providing our clients with project opportunities that pay for themselves through energy savings, reduce their carbon footprint and improve the quality of their facilities. Founded in 2009, our rapid growth has enabled us to position ourselves as Western Washington's leading LED retrofit and EV charging contractor.
Objective Statement:
Manage prospects through the closing process by engaging contacts in a professional manner and selling them on the project's value proposition. Generate $2 million of revenue in a calendar year (The first year will have adjusted targets).
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Build Quotes for prospects based on facility audit information.
Deliver bids to customers in person on a timely basis and continued follow-up.
Close contracts that meet or exceed quarterly sales targets.
Establish the company as a credible leader in the industry by working through prospects' scope requests and altering the bidding software to reflect those changes while maintaining internal financial benchmarks.
Track call conversion rates for reporting to the sales manager.
Keep detailed records of client interactions within CRM and keep pipeline and tasks in CRM up to date.
Identify, maintain and grow strategic relationships with decision-makers, and important key account contacts.
Produce scope of work documents to facilitate the scope verification process. Ensure scopes are actionable when contracts close.
Follow standard operating procedures for all sales-related activities, including close out the scope of work and coordinating closed projects with operations.
Always conduct yourself with professionalism and integrity.
Requirements:
We are looking for someone who has experience in B2B sales ideally in the building operations and maintenance market.
Electric Vehicle Charging experience is a must. Need a deep understanding of electrical material, electrical codes, and charging technology.
Candidate must be proficient with technology including CRM's and Microsoft Office and Excel.
A very strong quantitative skill set is also a must. The interview process will include a financial modeling exercise.
