Brand Manager Quick Service Restaurant (QSR)
Position Title : Brand Manager
Department : Food Services
Reports To : Vice President, Food, Dispensed Beverage & QSR
Position Summary
The Brand Manager oversees the daily operations, financial performance, and people development across multiple QSR locations within an assigned district and brand. This role ensures operational excellence, brand compliance, guest satisfaction, and strong profitability by coaching General Managers, driving performance standards, and executing company strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Leadership
- Provide hands?on leadership to multiple restaurant locations, ensuring consistent execution of QSR brand standards.
- Conduct regular store visits to evaluate operations, cleanliness, food safety, speed of service, and customer experience.
- Analyze operational KPIs and develop action plans to improve performance across the district.
- Ensure all restaurants meet or exceed company standards for food quality, service, and hospitality.
- Oversee district P&L performance, including sales, labor, COGS, and controllable expenses.
- Develop and monitor annual budgets in partnership with General Managers.
- Identify revenue opportunities and implement strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
- Ensure accurate inventory management and loss prevention procedures.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and evaluate General Managers and their teams.
- Build strong bench strength by developing internal talent pipelines.
- Lead performance reviews and address performance concerns with professionalism and clarity.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Customer Experience
- Champion customer satisfaction and ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest service.
- Address escalated customer issues and resolve concerns promptly.
- Implement programs and initiatives to improve the overall guest experience.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all restaurants adhere to health, sanitation, labor, and safety regulations.
- Guarantee compliance with company policies, brand standards, and operational procedures.
- Lead audits and follow?up corrective actions as needed.
Strategic Execution
- Roll out company initiatives, marketing promotions, and operational programs to all assigned locations.
- Provide feedback to senior leadership on district performance, opportunities, and market trends.
- Drive continuous operational improvement through data insights and cross?functional collaboration.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- 35+ years of multi?unit management experience in QSR, fast casual, or restaurant operations (required).
- Proven experience overseeing 512+ locations successfully.
- Strong financial acumen and P&L management skills.
- Strong leadership presence with the ability to coach teams and drive results.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem?solving skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast?paced environment.
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and retain top talent.
- Competence in using POS systems, scheduling tools, and basic business software (Excel, reporting dashboards).
Other Requirements
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to travel within assigned district regularly.
- Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
- Ability to travel frequently between locations.
