Associate Creative Director (ACD- Copy)

About the Role:

Our client, a performance-driven digital agency based in Boston, is seeking an Associate Creative Director (ACD) to join their team in a hybrid capacity. This role requires a strategic thinker and creative leader who excels at delivering smart, effective, and on-brand copy across digital, print, and integrated campaigns. The ideal candidate has a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates expertise in developing compelling messaging for complex industries such as healthcare, finance, or education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of creative concepts, ensuring all copy aligns with client objectives and brand tone.
• Collaborate closely with account managers, strategists, and design teams to produce integrated campaigns.
• Write and edit high-quality, persuasive copy for websites, email campaigns, social media, print collateral, and more.
• Manage and mentor a team of copywriters, providing clear direction and constructive feedback.
• Present creative ideas and strategies to clients and internal stakeholders with confidence and clarity.
• Ensure deliverables are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices to inform creative approaches.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of experience in copywriting or content creation, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Proven track record of producing effective copy for complex industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, education).
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a strong attention to detail.
• Experience developing messaging strategies and adapting tone for diverse audiences and platforms.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and collaboration platforms.
