Job Description

We are searching for a talented art director who has at least five-years experience, and wants to be part of a growing team. Candidate should be excited to lead, create, and innovate in a fast-paced environment. We are an agency that works with a wide variety of clients and we are looking to grow our Social Media department.

Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned) :

• Conceptualize design strategies in-line with the client's aesthetics and standards 
• Study design briefs and determine requirements 
• Conceptualize visuals based on requirements 
• Support Bastion's ongoing interactive and visual design initiatives
• Determine an appropriate design approach for projects and present recommendations, as needed 
• Work with copywriters and team members to produce final designs 
• Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and align with client brand guidelines 
• Creation of weekly graphics
• Implementing and managing social media posts, and working with the social team to create our client’s brand, look and feel 
• Acute attention to detail
• Maintain a current knowledge of design trends, strategies, platforms, tools 
• Identify trends, and create exciting graphics, gifs, and videos for clients 
• Research and source relevant material for client’s social media strategies 
• Managing to specific project timelines, monitoring progress, reporting and analyzing results to create engaging results for clients

Qualifications/Requirements : 

• Degree in design or graphic design (+5 years professional experience) 
• Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills required (Figma, XD, Illustrator, Photoshop, and After Effects) and an understanding of new technologies and ways to harness them for our work 
• Impeccable typography and graphic design skills 
• Acute Attention to detail 
• Excellent time-management skills 
• Excellent ability to proofread 
• Ability to assess good practices 
• Possess an enthusiastic, energetic, confident, outgoing and ambitious personality who is looking to be part of a growing team 
• Highly organized and has knowledge of product management software such as Trello 
• Friendly, courteous and professional as this is a client facing role 
• PR and marketing agency experience a plus 
• Experience executing campaigns for advertising and marketing purposes is a plus 
• Full time position
