Job Description

As an Area Sales Director for our Advanced Endoscopic Technologies division, you would be responsible for driving sales, profit margins and strategy by partnering with and influencing field sales management and sales representatives. This includes developing and executing corporate goals, strategy, and marketing plans in support of our Gastroenterology product portfolio. The critical objective of this position is to develop, implement and track results through effective business plans, strategies, and people management.

What You’ll Do:

  • Responsible for the successful performance of the sales organization in a specified region to meet the objectives of the company's overall business plans and strategies.
  • Must remain knowledgeable of market and industry trends, competitors, key opinion leaders and leading customer strategies.
  • Manage regional sales team to define strategic account plans and focus on the development of strong collaborative working relationships.
  • Manage and direct the region to assure sales and marketing revenue and margin goals are achieved.
  • Responsible for ongoing communication with regards to order, quota achievement and reporting the proposal pipeline to Senior Management.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent sales experience.
  • 5 years of proven management skills and/or relevant experience in selling medical devices and leading teams.
  • Ability to conduct business in an ethical manner consistent with policy and procedures.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills: outstanding public speaking and presentation skills are required.
  • Time management and organization skills

Disclosure as required by applicable state law, the annual salary range for this position is $110,000 plus commission. This is CONMED’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.
