Forbes Bros Timberline Construction Inc. (FB Timberline) is seeking multiple Apprentice Linemen - 3rd Step or higher (full time, permanent) to support the operations team on our transmission project based near Aiken, SC.

The Apprentice Lineman (full-time) will work with our team on a project based near Aiken, NC. Apprentice will assist with and perform installation and maintenance tasks to ensure the effective operation of various electrical equipment. They will assist with the installation, start-up, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and servicing of industrial electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lives Forbes Bros. value of WE WORK SAFE & never compromising on safety in all aspects of our every day
• Install, inspect, maintain, repair and modify high and low voltage transmission and distribution electrical grid
• Assist in implementing safety policies, transporting materials, installing electrical transmission systems, performing repair work, and laying underground cable in trenches.
• Assist in the construction, maintenance and removal of underground and overhead power lines and equipment
• Engage in on the job and classroom learning of all procedures for installing and maintaining electrical systems as well as customer, local and federal regulations, and safety requirements
• Adhere to Forbes Bros Occupational Health and Safety rules and regulations
• Perform other tasks related to this function as assigned

What We Are Looking For:

• Minimum of two (2) years' experience working within the powerline industry, is required
• Willingness to enroll in and complete training and documentation toward Journeyman Lineman certification
• Able and willing to present a Class A Commercial Driver License and an acceptable MVR
• Able and willing to work at various heights in varying and extreme climates
• Able and willing to perform manual labor in varying weather conditions and environments, inclusive of heavy lifting
• Ability to work as a member of a dynamic team and adapt to changing tasks and locations
