Compensation & Benefits

  • Hourly Rate:
    1. Apprenticeship: $18.00 per hour
    2. Full-Time: $20.00–$25.00 per hour , commensurate with experience

This is an apprentice program , giving you the ability to onboard at your evaluated skill level and grow through the Duggal Installation Certification Program , developing the technical, safety, and craftsmanship skills required to install high-end visual environments.

We value curiosity, continuous improvement, and pride in craft. Prior graphic installation experience is not required. For example, experience in areas such as carpeting, flooring, ceiling systems, paneling, trade show setup, modular furniture installation, event staging, commercial painting, or appliance installation, include skills that will transfer naturally to this role.

As an installer, you’re part of Team Duggal—representing our global brand with precision and professionalism on every project.

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)

  • Install with craftsmanship: Execute graphics, frames, letters/standoffs, SEG systems, and light-boxes according to drawings and specifications, ensuring clean, accurate, high-finish results.
  • Conduct precise site surveys: Measure carefully, document surfaces and constraints, and provide clear notes, drawings, photos, and digital records.
  • Work safely at heights: Use ladders, lifts, power tools, and PPE while following OSHA, site, and company protocols.
  • Travel regularly: Domestic and international assignments, including nights, weekends, holidays, and multi-day deployments.
  • Collaborate across teams: Work with Project Managers, Sales, Production, Design and Fabrication teams to ensure successful installations.
  • Use digital tools: Use mobile devices/tablets for surveys, reporting, documentation, and timekeeping.

Field Conditions & Physical Requirements

  • Lift/carry up to ~50 lb. solo ; team-lift 80–100 lb. using handles or mechanical assist.
  • Work at heights or narrow spaces, including ladders, lifts and scaffolding
  • Extended standing, kneeling, overhead work, and repetitive ladder climbs.
  • Work in in-door and out-door environments typical of construction and event sites.
  • Able to perform essential functions with reasonable accommodation.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

  • Willing and able to work nights/weekends/holidays and travel on short notice.
  • Comfortable with heights and power tools ; follows safety and installation methods strictly.
  • Accurate with measurements and documentation; able to read drawings and produce clear survey photos/notes.
  • Professional uniform & appearance: Duggal uniform and PPE required on all client jobs.
  • Strong communication and client-facing professionalism.
  • Valid driver’s license; must be passport-eligible (or able to obtain).
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. (I-9 required).
  • Reliable transportation ; personal vehicle a plus.
  • Multilingual a plus.

Pre-Selection & Certification Path (Paid)

  1. Paid Work Evaluation (Up to 5 Days)
    Includes ladder use, tool handling, leveling/layout, lifting evaluation, and a mini site survey.
  2. Apprentice Training & Evaluation (4–6 weeks, paid)
    On-the-job training with structured weekly skills assessments.
  3. Installer Certification (Transition to Level 1 Installer and Full-Time Employee)
    Demonstrates proficiency in ladder/fall safety, layout/finish work, letters/anchors, site-survey accuracy, and digital documentation.

After certification: Convert to full-time Installer with a pay increase and access to long-term career advancement (Roles include Technical Specialist, Field Leadership, Supervisor, Project Manager).

Pay & Schedule

  • Good-faith hourly range: plus overtime (non-exempt).
  • Night and holiday shift differentials as applicable.
  • Per-diem and travel expenses reimbursed.
