The Boise Anesthesia tech team is seeking a supervisor for this dynamic and busy team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership and change management skills to support the important work they perform! The position will be Monday thru Friday daytime, but the team works 24/7 so some after hours and weekend work is possible.

What You Can Expect:

The Supervisor Assistive Personnel is responsible for managing staff, overseeing patient care and ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.

• Supervises, plans, and evaluates direct care staff to ensure patients receive optimum care. Oversees daily operations of the unit to promote quality/efficient patient care management.
• Assists with coordination of schedule to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Provide leadership, guidance, counseling and continuing education to staff. Select, develop, coach, mentor, and assess performance of staff.
• Evaluates performance of assigned employees based on job standards.
• Assists the Nursing Manager in meeting budget targets for unit through effective utilization of staffing ratios.
• Provides budgetary and performance improvement feedback to management.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

   

Qualifications:

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience: 3 years' experience
