Job Description

Amentum is seeking an Administrative Assistant in the Williamsburg area of Virginia. The Administrative Assistant will provide on-site administrative, clerical, and customer support to a dynamic training office. The primary duties for this position include maintaining accurate calendar entries for senior executive level officers, greeting and assisting visitors, administrative and clerical assistance to the leadership team, answering phones, recording and publishing meeting notes. Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

  • Provide administrative support to executive staff with office management responsibilities.

  • Answering phone calls and taking messages.

  • Scheduling appointments, deconflicting requirements when necessary.

  • Making travel arrangements.

  • Provide support for events, including VIP visits.

  • Perform various administrative duties requiring knowledge of office routine.

  • An understanding of the organization, programs, and procedures related to the work of the office.

  • Submit Base access for official visitors.

  • Oversee file management and archiving.

  • Serve as the main POC for vault access.

  • Manage office supplies and complete restock orders, as necessary.

  • Utilize multiple computer systems and databases to fulfill requirements.

  • Excellent organizational, reporting, multi-tasking, and communication skills.

  • Managing individual stakeholder and conference room meeting calendars.

  • Capture and distribution of meeting minutes.

  • May be required to work independently on projects requiring research and preparation of briefing charts and other presentation materials.

  • Positive attitude and ability to provide excellent customer service in a fast paced, high-pressure environment

Minimum Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an administrative support role

  • High School Diploma

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, etc.)

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience on the client computer system

  • Expert typing and computer skills

  • Organized and detail oriented

  • Ability to communicate professionally via electronic and verbal communication

  • Active Government Clearance at time of application

  • US Citizen

  • Valid Driver’s License
