Are you a detail-oriented, personable professional seeking an opportunity where you would be supporting an accounting department with administrative support? We’re looking for a tech-savvy  Accounting Assistant to join this busy team! If you thrive in customer-facing roles and fast-paced environments, this role may be the perfect fit for you. This person will start next week and will provide support 40 hours a week until mid-January.

Key Responsibilities:

• Front Counter & Phones: Answer incoming calls and assist in managing the front counter to provide exceptional customer service.
• Utility Customer Support: Set up customer accounts, and help them navigate their customer portal
• Data Management: Scan documents, post payments, and maintain accuracy while processing and recording information.
• Invoice Review: Verify invoice entries to ensure correctness and compliance with company procedures.
• Administrative Support: Handle basic administrative tasks, including managing emails and scheduling through Outlook/Teams.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Personable and approachable, with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented and organized, with a demonstrated ability to multitask effectively.
• Comfortable working in customer-facing roles and responding to inquiries.
• Strong technological proficiency and ability to quickly learn and assist others in navigating online portals.
• Familiarity with platforms like Outlook or Microsoft Teams is preferred.
