Overview Goldco, a premier precious metals firm located in Calabasas, CA, is seeking an entry-level bookkeeper with strong attention to detail to join our Accounting team. This position requires professionalism, flexibility, and a positive, friendly attitude. The chosen candidate will report directly to the Controller. This is a hybrid role that will report to the Goldco office 3 days a week. Note: This is a hybrid in-office role in Calabasas, CA. Must be able to reliably commute to the Goldco office 3 days per week. Position Requirements Proficiency in QuickBooks, preferred 1+ years bookkeeping/accounting experience Proficiency in Word and Excel required Must be punctual and reliable High attention to detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Professional and calm demeanor Personable, service-oriented, and respectful at all times Be flexible in daily assignments; multi-task with ease Possess great project management and organizational skills Take initiative and provide administrative support to the Accounting team as needed Possess the ability to work independently as well as coordinate with others Possess the ability to keep information in the strictest of confidence Accounting Responsibilities Accounts payable Accounts receivable Journal entry posting Health benefits after 30 days, company matched 401k after 60 days, and discretionary bonus/incentives available after 90 days Accrued paid time off; paid holidays Friendly office culture and atmosphere. Coffee bar, snacks, office lunches/outings Potential for advancement for the right candidate Physical Demands Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers, vendors and other third-parties Hours Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am - 4:00 pm.
