Junior AccountantLocation: Conneaut, OhioJob type: Contract/TemporarySalary: $17 - $24 / HourCategory: Accounting & FinanceAccountantGeneralWe have an immediate opening for an Accounting Assistant. This position is located in Conneaut, Ohio. Starting pay is $17.00 to $24.00 an hour, depending on experience. Monday through Friday 8:30am-5pm.Duties/Responsibilities:- Daily posting of cash receipts- Inputting accounts payable invoices- Ensuring timely payment of invoices and gathering appropriate signatures- Maintaining an organized filing system for accounts payable invoices and cash receipts- Assisting in gathering documents for external audits- General data entry & reporting to assist in Finance & Operations departmentsRequired Skills/Abilities:- Accurate data entry skills- Excellent proactive communication skills, including active listening- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail- Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills- Excellent IT skillsEducation and Experience:- Successful completion of accounting classes- Accounting experience in a manufacturing environment is a huge plus, but not needed- Accounting experience is a plus, but will consider a recent graduate with accounting classesPay Details: $17.00 to $24.00 per hourBenefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401K plan.
