Highly Realistic Humanoid Very detailed Paintings showing stitching & materials Character Costumes : fantasy, cyber, tribal, gothic + Key Responsibilities: Costume Concept Design: Create detailed and realistic 2D concept art for character costumes, including front and back turnarounds. Develop high-quality paintings that reflect the aesthetic and narrative requirements of the game. Ensure costume designs are functional and align with the character's personality and story. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with character designers, 3D modelers, and other artists to ensure costume designs are feasible and enhance the overall character design. Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of work. Communicate effectively with the art director and other team members to align on design goals and vision. Research and Reference Gathering: Conduct research to gather references and inspiration for costume designs, ensuring historical or thematic accuracy where needed. Stay updated on current fashion trends, materials, and design techniques to bring fresh and innovative ideas to the team. Iteration and Refinement: Revise and refine costume concepts based on feedback from the art director and other stakeholders. Produce multiple iterations of designs to explore different visual directions and achieve the best possible outcome. Maintain a high level of attention to detail and quality throughout the design process. Requirements: Proven experience as a concept artist, with a strong focus on character costume design. Exceptional skills in realistic and highly detailed painting. Proficiency in digital painting software such as Photoshop, Corel Painter, or similar. Strong understanding of anatomy, fabric, and material rendering. Ability to create detailed front and back turnarounds for character costumes. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. A portfolio showcasing your realistic costume designs and detailed paintings. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in the video game industry. Knowledge of historical or thematic costume design. Familiarity with 3D modeling software (e.g., ZBrush, Maya) to understand the translation of 2D designs into 3D models. Passion for video games and character design.
